Covington Knolls, the single-family home community in Lemont from award-winning homebuilder Gallagher and Henry, recently opened a new section of the community for residential sales – and eager homebuyers wasted little time scooping up their preferred homesite.

Of the 26 lots available for purchase, eight were either sold or received deposits within days of their release.

“The interest in these Covington Knolls homesites speaks to the appeal of living in Lemont, the trust Gallagher and Henry has established over 60 years as a Chicago area homebuilder, and the draw of Covington Knolls as a wonderful place to live,” says John Gallagher, a principal with the family-owned homebuilding firm his father and uncle co-founded in 1954.

The remaining homesites along Baimbridge Court include cul-de-sac locations, oversized lots, and sites that can accommodate walkout basements. The still-available homesites represent the final opportunity to live in one of the southwest suburb’s most desirable neighborhoods.

Covington Knolls has been lauded for its family-friendly feel characterized by parks and bike paths as well as its convenient location to 127th Street just east of State Street/Lemont Road. The community is close to major expressways, Lemont’s Blue Ribbon schools, shopping and dining locales, and Lemont’s historic downtown.

County.

Homebuyers at Covington Knolls can select any of the six home plans – four two-story options and two ranch plans – in Gallagher and Henry’s heralded Lifestyle Series. Built with the needs of modern buyers top of mind, Lifestyle Series homes feature open-concept floor plans and include today’s most sought-after elements, including three-car garages, luxurious Owner’s suites, flexible spaces, basements, and mudrooms.
